Oakley Home Access Greater Boston

Oakley Home Access of Greater Boston brings a holistic approach to our community with the goal of maximizing our clients’ accessibility and safety.

Many of us want to remain in our own homes and “Age-in Place” or are facing physical challenges which might make living in an existing setting problematic, or even dangerous.

Our differentiating approach takes the guesswork out of having to ask yourself:

“What accessibility and safety modifications in the home might I or my loved one need, and for those I do need, who am I going to find to actually make the modifications in a timely and high-quality manner?”

Oakley Home Access of Greater Boston answers this question.

On the front end, our own staff of Occupational Therapists conduct a no-cost front-end assessment which considers an individual’s mobility and/or safety concerns in the context of their living arrangement. From there, a clear and concise report of recommendations is developed and if suggested modifications are desired by the client, our own team of highly skilled technicians promptly conducts the installation work and if necessary, provides relevant user training.

Common modifications include grab bars, accessibility ramps, stair lifts, easy access side wall tub cuts, complete tub removal and barrier free shower Installation, stairway and hallway handrails, and custom exterior entrance safety railings. We also maintain a broad inventory of often simple but effective adaptive safety equipment for bathrooms, bedrooms, and the general living space of our clients’ homes.

Whether it is for yourself or someone you care about, please call us at 781-742-4663, email neil.ma@oakleyhomeaccess.com, or click on the “Free Home Assessment” link below to start your journey towards greater accessibility and safety.

Massachusetts  Funding

Once Oakley Home Access does our home assessment and determines the proper modifications for each individual person, the question we are asked most frequently is, “How can we pay for these modifications?” Thankfully there are several different funding sources for most people to consider if they are not able to pay out of pocket. Home modifications and aging in place are much less expensive alternatives to long-term care facilities and the process of finding funding is something that we can help with also.

Massachusetts  Resources

Oakley Home Access is proud to partner with many different businesses and resources that service the aging and special needs community. With links ranging from assisted living facilities, to home care aids, to medical equipement sources, Oakley aims to help those we serve in all ways needed.
